Cherries
The scientific name of cherry is Prunus Avium. Central Macedonia and especially the Imathia region maintain the largest area of cherry crops in Greece thanks to the ideal soil and climate conditions under which the cherries are growing.
A particular popular fruit during summers, cherry must be consumed shortly after its harvesting due to its short shelf life.
Taking this into account, the fruits are hand-picked very carefully and transported from production to packing directly after the harvesting.
The controlled conditions during the cold storage and transportation of the fruits secure that our cherries will maintain their excellent quality traits like their perfect color and taste by the time of consumption.
